The Chef’s Table Family
Brahm Bedell
ServerWhat motivates you to work hard?
I suppose I am motivated by just doing what’s right and being thorough. Oh, and leave it better than you found it, and pick up after yourself. Lesson over.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Becoming a father, twice.
What was the last movie you went to?
Rogue One. I still have Star Wars Episodes 4, 5, & 6 on VHS. May the Force be with you.
What would you sing at Karaoke night?
Amish Paradise by Weird Al Yankovic. I’ve opened w/that before and it makes people belly-laugh!
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Bacon, egg, potato, cheese, avocado, and salsa breakfast burritos. Runner up: Sushi boats.
Would you rather vacation in Hawaii or Alaska, and why?
I’m not afraid of the cold, but Hawaii for sure; a beach bungalow and a tree house in the jungle.
If money was no object, what would you do all day?
I would be raise pigs and goats, keep bees, farm a main crop of hemp, and race professional off-road trucks on Saturdays.
List two pet peeves?
1) People sneezing/coughing into their hands. 2) “Table campers”
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
80 or so, total. Most are part of an Adidas & Puma collection I started in high school. Most are still crispy-fresh in boxes.
Do you love or hate rollercoasters?
I like an elaborate rollercoaster over a “tilt-&-puke” spiny ride any day. I have a serious appreciation for wooden rollercoasters, as well. Even if they can’t do loops, they give me just as much anxiety!
What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten?
Beondegi. Steamed silk worm pupa. I was the only American to try it w/my favorite Korean sushi chef one night after a few soju bombs.
